Story 4 - Jacko
Next, Kangu explored the beach. What was there not everything to see! The beach was so flat, just wonderful to jump on. Kangu let his gaze glide over the white beach, the white rocks, and the dunes. He had never seen anything like it.
But what is this ???????
He thought he could not believe his eyes. Near the beach he saw something very long, big, black swimming still in the water. Where the beach ended in the water, something went up and down. At the other end of this thing, in the sea, he saw a water fountain. The water fountain was there once and then gone again.
Since Kangu was curious, he went to the end of this thing something in the water. The "something" that went up and down suddenly lay still. Up close, it looked like two huge leaves.
Should Kangu bite into it? No, he decided, maybe stand on it for a bit first to see how it all felt.
But as soon as Kangu stood on this "something," it hurled him into the air in an instant. Higher than Kangu had ever jumped, he flew through the air and landed ungently on this black thing, just before the water fountain. So already out in the sea.
His impact elicited a strange sound from this thing and it started moving. "What's going on on my back?" a high-pitched voice called out.
To which Kangu immediately said, "That's just me, a little kangaroo. My name is Kangu. You have just thrown me here".
"Ok," said the thing," and I thought it was a fish that always annoy me. My name is Jacko and I'm a whale. I can swim very far and dive deep."

That's when Kangu had the idea! Do you know which one? No, then listen.
"Can you swim with me a little in the sea, so that I can look at the sea on your back," he said to Jacko. He thought about it for a moment, mumbled a "yes" and swam off.
So now Kangu could look at the sea calmly on the hump of the whale.
