Story 7 - Under Water
On the way home, Jacko showed him something very special.
"Hold on tight now, I'm going to jump out of the water and then dive under the water. But only briefly.Underwater, you have to hold your breath, you can't breathe in," Jacko admonished him.
Now Kangu got quite palpitations. He must be underwater? Maybe you know this from a swimming bath. You're splashing in the water, then suddenly your head is under the water. Then you mustn't breathe. Once you've dived a few times, it's really fun. But like Kangu, you'll be mighty excited the first time.
Well, he didn't have time to think long. Already it started.
Jacko took a mighty run-up and sped through the water. Then, after a brief moment, it went steeply up. Kangu saw the blue sky and clung tightly to Jacko. A few seconds passed before Jacko got into the horizontal position, then dropped diagonally down into the sea. When they plunged into the sea, the water splashed as high as a small house, for the whale was large and heavy.
Kangu held his breath. And because he forgot to close his eyes, he saw the underwater world. He had never seen anything like it! Fish in the most beautiful colors. Big fish, small fish, shells, even seahorses he saw. To their left, a small turtle hatchling swam away, frightened.

Surely you know turtles. Maybe you have one at home or you've seen turtles at the zoo. But these are land tortoises. That is, they feel comfortable with us on Earth. Now there are also turtles that love the water.Their feet are like little shovels that allow them to swim perfectly.
Kangu saw exactly this. When Kangu smiled kindly at them, it lost its initial fear and swam alongside them for a while.
But already Jacko shot out of the sea to the water surface again.
"And how did you like it?" he asked. Kangu was enthusiastic..This was an adventure. No, he had never seen such a world in his kangaroo life. Wow!
Because Jacko swam so quickly, they soon arrived at the spot where he had met Kangu. He gently set him down on the beach and said goodbye. Yes, both had tears in their eyes. But they promised each other to meet again.
Jacko had to go. He had to visit his uncle, who lived in colder waters.
With an extra-large fountain of water coming out of his head, he swam towards the sea. Then he dived into the deep sea and was no longer to be seen.
Kangu also jumped in the direction of home. When he got there, he had a lot to tell. All his friends listened to his adventures - just like you. And they were happy that Kangu was doing well.
