Story 6 - The Tomato House
"I am Tomatine, the tomato queen," said the tomato. "If you pass me on the right you can find the entrance to my tomato house, you are welcome to enter," she continued.
Kangu didn't need to be told a. Immediately he ran off. .
His eyes were constantly searching for the entrance. An opening was visible in front of him. With a few jumps he was at the entrance and stopped, shocked. .
Everything in the house was red. Above all, he saw a bustle of activity. Many small tomatoes on two legs were constantly on the move, dragging tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" asked a little tomato wearing a hat. This was surely a boss tomato, Kangu thought to himself. "Your queen invited me to go inside your house," Kangu said.
"Ok come, I'll take you around our house and show you our tomato balloon," the boss tomato said to Kangu. The boss tomato led Kangu through many small corridors and different rooms of the house. And always he saw many small tomatoes, all busy.
Then suddenly he saw a bright light and after a few steps he was standing with the Boss Tomato in a bright open room. Here he could look up into the blue sky. But there he saw something else.
In front of him was a real balloon.
Have you ever seen a really big balloon? A balloon looks something like a balloon for children. Only when inflated, it is larger than a house.At the bottom of the balloon hangs a large basket for people. In this basket, people can look at the world from above. You can take a balloon ride with it. Because such a balloon can fly properly.
This is exactly what Kangu saw now. Only that the large envelope of the balloon looked like a .... Tomato.
"With this balloon, we send our tomatoes to other countries. If you go to the beach with me, you can see this balloon take off," Boss Tomato said to Kangu. Immediately, they both walked hurriedly to the beach, to the place where Kangu arrived. They didn't have to wait long there.
Suddenly, Kangu heard a loud gong that echoed across the island. Then he saw the balloon. Slowly but steadily, he floated out of the belly of the tomato house and into the blue sky. He floated higher and higher to the sky, became smaller and smaller, and soon he was no longer visible.
"Hey Kangu, now we have to go again," Jacko called out at that moment. Kangu quickly turned to the Boss Tomato and thanked him once again for the tour and for this little adventure with the tomato balloon.
Then he jumped back on Jacko to quickly move away from Tomato Island.
